Let’s start with selecting a mattress. We laid on so many mattresses and read so many reviews. We first got a Sleep Number M7 Smart Bed delivered, and the first night we both woke up in the middle of the night regretting every penny! In order to get the mattress soft enough to be comfortable, it felt as if we were bouncing around on an air mattress. Within a few days we ordered an Avocado mattress only to go to a Mattress Firm Clearance Store and to find the mattress of our dreams: a Stearns and Foster Plush Hybrid mattress for over 1/2 off! Keeping It Simple
With two little girls, a job, and all the busyness of life, keeping it simple is my motto. When it comes to my bedding and making my bed, I don’t make a fuss of it. Sheets, a weighted blanket, my velvet quilt (the best Marshall’s find!), shams, and two throw pillows is all I need.
Whether you spend a lot of time with the added pillows and blankets or not, having the right mattress and bedding do wonders for you sleep quality which in turn affects your quality of life. It’s worth taking the time and spending the extra $$ to get a good nights sleep.
